Kamloops, BC – The University of Victoria men's basketball team beat Thompson Rivers University 90-74, Nov. 22 at Tournament Capital Centre.
Vikes controlled the first half.
- The Vikes dominated on both ends of the floor in the first half, highlighted by holding the WolfPack to 14 points in the first quarter.
- The shots were dropping for the Vikes as the second-highest scoring team in the nation scored 48 points in the first half.

- The WolfPack's shots began to drop at a higher rate in the second half, but the Vikes countered with a scoring run of their own each time.
- The Vikes depth was on full display as Geoffrey James, Ethan Boag, Shadynn Smid, and Ryan Gallagher all scored in double figures.

- Geoffrey James scored a career-high 28 points, leading the Vikes in the win.
- Shadynn Smid led the Vikes on the glass with his 10 rebounds, recording his second double-double of the season.
- Both the Vikes and WolfPack move to 7-2 and will be tied for the top spot in the Canada West Pacific Division.
The Vikes return to the court on Nov. 28 to play the UNBC Timberwolves.
