Prince George, BC – The University of Victoria men's basketball team extended their winning streak as they defeated the University of Northern British Columbia 98-71, Nov. 29 at Northern Sport Centre.
Victoria was red hot from the start.
- The Vikes came out with a blazing start, totalling 56 first-half points in their highest scoring half of the season.
- Geoffrey James led the way, scoring 13 first-half points and five assists.
- The Vikes held on to a 19-point lead as the second quarter ended.

- The Vikes' strong shooting continued into the second half as they finished with a team field goal percentage of 52.9%.
- UNBC had no answers for the Vikes' big men off the bench as Shadynn Smid and Tyler Felt scored 19 and 15 points respectively.

- With the win, the Vikes extend their winning streak to four games and improve their record to 9-2. With the loss, the Timberwolves fall to 2-9 on the season.
