Montreal, QC – The University of Victoria men's rowing team finished third at the 2025 Canadian University Rowing Championships, winning three medals on Nov. 1 and 2, hosted by McGill University.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
DiPompeo won a pair of medals for the Vikes

• Giancarlo DiPompeo performed strongly at this year's Championships, bringing home a gold medal in the lightweight 1x and a bronze in lightweight 2x with partner Oliver Howard-Batek.
   

Men's 8+ won a silver.

• The lightweight 8+ boat of Dominik Crnjak, Conor Dillon, Calum Murphy, Daniel Mielecki, Drew Timlin, Thomas Boruta, Gabe Dyer, Simon Whittaker, and Sascha Jansen-Rudan finished with a silver medal after their 6:01.66 showing.

 
The Vikes will return to racing in the spring of 2026.
