Langley, B.C. – The University of Victoria women's soccer team fall 3-2 to Trinity Western University, Sep. 12 at Chase Office Field.
Vikes and Spartans even at 2-2 heading into the half
- Sydney Casidy opened the scoring in the 16th minute with her first of the season. Coming off a free kick set piece just outside the Spartans' box, the Vikes' captain was able to bury the cross from Ruby Nicholas to put the Vikes ahead 1-0.
- Taiya Scorey netted her third of the season in the 30th minute after her shot deflected off a Spartans' defender and over the keeper's head to extend the Vikes' lead to 2-0.
- The Spartans narrowed the deficit in the 36th minute when a corner kick cross was booted home to cut the Vikes' lead to 2-1.
- In the 4th minute of first half extra time, the Spartans' net a penalty kick to even up the game 2-2.

- In the 56th minute, the Spartans took a 3-2 lead following a strike from outside the box into the top left corner of the Vikes' net.

The Vikes return home to Centennial Stadium to host Fraser Valley University, Sep. 14 at 1p.m.
