Men's Basketball (1-0)
Friday, February 20, 2026, at 7 p.m.
Vikes host the Alberta Golden Bears in the Canada West semifinals, Victoria, BC, at CARSA Performance Gym.

Last Game Recap:
  • The Vikes downed the Trinity Western Spartans, 95-67 in the Canada West quarterfinals as Cam Slaymaker and his 20 points led a scoring barrage that TWU had no answers for.
  • The Spartans came out of the gates hot, looking to blitz the Vikes and take the energy out of the building, grabbing an early 10-point lead.
  • Victoria began to attack the rim, forcing the Spartans into foul trouble. This aggression turned the game on its head as the Vikes powered back to a narrow 46-42 halftime lead.
  • Out of the halftime break, the Vikes went on a 29-12 scoring run that ended all comeback hopes the Spartans had.

Game Preview:
  • The Vikes have not played Alberta since the 2022-23 season, in which they lost their last game, 89-84 in Edmonton, AB.
  • In their last 10 matchup, the Vikes edge out the Golden Bears with a 6-4 record dating back to 2015.
