Ypsilanti, MI – The University of Victoria women's golf team competed at the NAIA Women's National Championship, May 19-22, at Eagle Crest Golf Club.
 
Rain delay didn't stop Cindy Koira from posting a stellar first round.

• The rain played a factor in the first round, halting play nearly halfway through. Cindy Koira fired a +5 round of 77, placing her T33 at the end of round one.
• Antonia Ho and Brynne Davies followed suit with +8 and +10 rounds, respectively. The strong play from these ladies had them within the top 100 as Ho was T70 and Davies T95 after the first round of the Championship.

 
Vikes finished outside the cut line and grabbed a 26th-place finish.

• Cindy Koira posted the Vikes tournament low round as she carded four birdies en route to a +2 round of 74. This performance had Koira climbing within the top 10 after two rounds.
• Antonia Ho followed up her strong round one with another in round two. Ho posted a six-over-par 78, placing her T80.

 
Koira rallied for a top 10 spot.

• Cindy Koira, the lone Vike left after the cuts following round two, shot a 78 in round three of the Championship. Koira's six-over-par score pushed her up the leaderboard to grab a ninth-place finish.
