Langley, BC – The University of Victoria women's soccer team tied Trinity Western University 0-0 on Sep. 18 at Chase Office Field.

• In a rematch of last Sunday's matchup between these two provincial foes, which ended in a draw. These squads followed up the tie with a first-half stalemate.

 
Neither team could beat a goalkeeper.

• Vikes' defenders made several crucial interceptions, tackles, and clearances to stifle the Spartans' scoring threats and preserve the draw.
• Victoria threatened offensively with several set pieces off corners but were unable to find an open attacker in the box. The Vikes generated three shots on goal, including efforts from Malia Phelan, Adrianna Hilton, and Scarlett McNeely, but couldn't break down the Trinity Western goalkeeper.
• In a match that saw Stefanie Moncik face five shots on target, she turned away each one to secure her second clean sheet in the first three games of the season.
