Biography

HEIGHT: 6'5"
HOMETOWN: Nanaimo, B.C.
HIGH SCHOOL: Nanaimo District Secondary School
ABOUT: Tyus Barfoot of Nanaimo, B.C., has been a member of the provincial U15, U16 and U17 teams, where in 2014, he helped his U17 team finish sixth at the Men's National Basketball Championships. That year, Barfoot was also named U17 Second Team All-Star. The six-foot-five swingman was also senior member on his high school basketball team from 2012 to 2015, and was named First Team All-Star and Island MVP after he helped his team finish seventh at the 2015 BC Senior Boys AAA Basketball Provincial Championships. The prospective social sciences major says he is excited to be a part of a tightly-knit Vikes basketball program and culture.
