Biography
Ethan McClymont was born in Winnipeg, MB. He is the son of Mike and Michele McClymont. He has 1 sibling: Sara McClymont. Ethan was a member of Canada's National Taekwondo Team as a junior for 2 years winning the Pan-Am Championships in 2017 as well as qualifying for, and winning Bronze at the Youth Olympics in 2018. Ethan transitioned to rowing at the start of 2019 and raced for Team Manitoba over the 2019-2020 seasons becoming a finalist at the Canadian Henley Regatta, winning Silver at the Western Canada Summer Games, and placing third in the 2020 Canadian Indoor Rowing Championships.
