Gabrielle Senft, a Sciences student from Regina, SK, was a huge factor in the UVic women’s rugby team dominating the competition en route to the program’s first ever gold medal at the University Sevens National Championships. The second-year Vike scored 35 points in six games and was also strong defensively, helping UVic outscore their opponents 199-15.
