EDMONTON - A two-goal performance from Kelowna rookie #Stephanie Hatch# delivered the UVic Vikes women's field hockey team a 3-0 road victory over the Alberta Pandas.
Hatch gave the Vikes a quick two-goal lead with scores in the 2nd and 8th minutes of play. Her first score came via a penalty corner, then was in optimal positioning on a rebound opportunity.

The win moves the Vikes closer to clinching one of two Canada West berths for a spot in this year's CIS tournament. UVic's record now stands at 5-1-2, while Alberta is winless at 0-8.
