Ryan MacKinnon led the UVic Vikes men's basketball team on an offensive scoring spree, pocketing 22 points in a convincing 91-64 win over the McGill Redmen.

The Vikes shot 54 percent, controlled the glass with a 43-26 rebound advantage, and led by as many as 30 points to improve to 1-1 at the House Laughton Tournament.

Marco Dolcetti# continued to flourish in the starter's role with 13 points on 4-for-9 shooting. Dolcetti also made two of the Vikes seven three-pointers.

Jeff Cullen# contributed eight. In total, 11 Vikes players scored at least one basket.
McGill's scoring high came from Simon Bibeau who finished the night with 17 points on 6-for-14 shooting.
The House Laughton tournament wraps up Sunday with the Vikes playing Carleton in a rematch of the 2006 CIS title game.
