The much-needed win has the Vikes sitting four points shy of a berth into the Canada West playoffs, with two games left in the regular season schedule.

Sawicki opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, sprinting past Manitoba's goalkeeper Laura Harrison to pot her team-high fourth goal of the season.

The go-ahead goal came in the 33rd minute, when Vikes substitute Frankee Bencher put away a loose ball in the Bisons' box.

The weekend sweep sees the Vikes head into their final home series against Lethbridge and Calgary at 4-5-3. Kickoffs for Saturday, October 30th against the Pronghorns and Sunday, October 31 versus the Dinos are scheduled for 12pm.
