Jaclyn Sawicki# once again proved to be a catalyst for the UVic VIkes women's soccer team, combining with #
Frankee Bencher# to down the Manitoba Bisons 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The much-needed win has the Vikes sitting four points shy of a berth into the Canada West playoffs, with two games left in the regular season schedule.
Sawicki opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, sprinting past Manitoba's goalkeeper Laura Harrison to pot her team-high fourth goal of the season.
Bisons' striker Carrie Nash drew the match level in the 33rd minute, heading in a cross from midfielder Paula Fast.
