VICTORIA - The UVic Vikes men's basketball team knocked down 15 three-pointers in a 97-69 victory over the Regina Cougars on Friday night.

Jeff Spoor led the three-point barrage, shooting 4-for-5, and finished with a career-best 15 points. Overall, the Vikes connected on 53 percent of their perimeter attempts and every player who dressed scored.
Spoor eneded the first half with a three-pointer, giving the Vikes a 46-29 lead at the break, and the shots kept falling in the second.
Marco Dolcetti connected on four threes, leading the Vikes with 18 points, and
Jeff Cullen hit three to finish with 11.
Regina's Jeff Lukomski posted the game scoring high with 22 points. It was the highest point total of the season for Lukomski, who is chasing the Cougar's all-time scoring title.
The loss is the third straight for the Cougars, since opening the season 4-0. While the Vikes improve to 5-4.
