MacKinnon nets 20 to lead Vikes again in win over Bobcats

The University of Victoria Vikes men's basketball team held off a desperate Brandon Bobcats squad to come back and win 84-77 on the road on Jan. 28.

With the win the Vikes improve to 12-7 while the Bobcats slip to 4-13. The teams play in the rematch on Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. PST in Brandon.

#Ryan MacKinnon# led the Vikes once again with 20 points, while #Marco Dolcett#i added 17 points. #Michael Berg# was a presence in the paint with 14 points and 11 boards. O'Brian Wallace led the Bobcats with a game-high 26 points, adding six rebounds in the loss.

The Vikes trailed 29-17 after the opening quarter, but outscored Brandon 67-48 in the final three quarters to fend off the host squad.
