The Bishop's Gaiters defeated the UVic Vikes 77-57 on Sunday in the Vikes third and final game of the House-Laughton Hoops Classic in Ottawa.

The Vikes posted a 1-2 record at the tournament, dropping an 80-65 decision to Carleton on Saturday following a 77-56 win over Guelph on Friday.
Four of the Gaiters starters posted 10 points or more, led by
Mike Andrews (Oakville, Ont.) who posted a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds).
The Gaiters led 43-35 at halftime, and pulled away in the second half, as they outscored the Vikes 34-22 in the final 22 minutes. Bishop's held Victoria to only nine points in third quarter.
Andrews' 16 points led the Gaiters, while
Tim Hunter (Baie d'Urfé, Que.) scored 15,
Onnex Blackwood (Scarborough, Ont.) added 13 and
Sean Monplaisir (Toronto) chipped in with 12 points and a team-high four assists.
UVic was led by #Ryan Mackinnon# (Comox, B.C.), who scored 14 points and #
Pierce Anderson# (Calgary), who scored 12.
The Vikes host Westminster College (NAIA) of Utah on Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. at McKinnon Gymnasium.
