About: In 2010, Calgary did not qualify for the CIS National Championships; however, there was no shortage of Dinos present at the championship banquet. Head coach Jenn Swagar was named CIS Coach of the Year after leading the team to the program's best finish (3rd) in the Canada West since 2000. In addition, returning fifth-year midfielder Courtney Campbell was honoured as a CIS first-team all Canadian and Carolina Romeo was named to the second-team. Romeo came into the CIS as the youngest female athlete in history at the age of 15 in 2008. This year, Swagar will look to Campbell as well as the many other fifth-years including Laural Kuntz, Emma Guppy, Michelle Roydhouse, and Kaitlyn Longworth. As the 2011 National Championship hosts, Calgary will have an automatic qualification for the tournament and will be looking to hoist their first ever CIS banner.
