About: The Alberta Pandas boast a roster of 12 returning players from the 2010-11 squad. Despite their 1-11 record last season, the Pandas have begun their 2011 campaign strong earning three points from UBC in their home opener. The Pandas are currently 1-1 in Canada West standings and will be looking towards the leadership of fourth-year B.C. native Jackie Trautmann to guide the team towards a berth to Nationals. A mix of talent is spread across the field from veteran keeper Tory Spencer manning the backline to forward Kincso Santha, who scored the game winner against UBC last weekend. The Pandas have not won the CIS title since 2005 and will be looking to keep the banner in Alberta this year.
