University of Victoria Vikes forward Cam Hundal was honoured as the Canada West Third Star of the Week, following a three-goal performance against the Calgary Dinos, Oct. 19 at Centennial Stadium..

The Vikes men's soccer team wrapped up their final home games of the Canada West season with a pair of wins over Lethbridge and Calgary. The Vikes, now 8-3-1, have secured a place in the Canada West Final Six. On Friday, the Vikes hosted the Horns and defeated them 4-0 easily on a night that had heavy fog play a big factor. Hundal started his 11^th straight game and earned rest time in the second half to prepare for the cross-over match with Calgary. On Saturday, the Dinos took a first half lead 1-0 and the Vikes bounced back thanks to Hundal.

Hundal notched three goals including the game-tying and game-winning goal to lift the Vikes up 4-1 over the Dinos. The win sends the Vikes to an 8-3-1 record, while Hundal is now in third in conference scoring with eight goals.
