SERIES HISTORY

• The Vikes are 4-0-4 against the Thunderbirds since the start of the 2019 season.
• Last matching up Oct. 23-24, 2021, the Vikes claimed a 1-1 (4-1 SO) win and 1-0 victory over the Thunderbirds in Vancouver, B.C., clinching the Canada West title.
• Last in Victoria, the Vikes posted 3-1 and 3-0 wins, Oct. 2-3, 2021.

• The Vikes hold a 2-0 record entering the weekend, defeating Calgary 9-0 and 7-0, Sept. 10-11.
• UBC also holds a 2-0 record coming in to the weekend, defeating Calgary 2-0 and 1-0, Sept. 17-18.
• Nora Struchtrup was named the Canada West Player of the Week, Sept. 13, after her four-goal performance in the Vikes' season-opening win over the Dinos.
• UVic has recorded nine different goal scorers so far in 2022, four of which have recorded two-or-more goals in Struchtrup (4), Chloe Langkammer (3), Libby Hogg (2), and Anni Kleinschmidt (2).
• Rookie goalkeeper Daya Shields has recorded two shutouts in her first two starts as a Vike.
• Elizabeth Mathisen, Izzy Fraser, and Danielle McBean have each recorded one goal for the Thunderbirds this season, while Hannah Rumble has two shutouts in net.
