Field hockey set for weekend series with UBC

VICTORIA – The University of Victoria women's field hockey team hosts the University of British Columbia for a two-game series, Sept. 24-25, at Cowichan Sportsplex in Duncan, B.C.

SERIES HISTORY
  • The Vikes are 4-0-4 against the Thunderbirds since the start of the 2019 season.
  • Last matching up Oct. 23-24, 2021, the Vikes claimed a 1-1 (4-1 SO) win and 1-0 victory over the Thunderbirds in Vancouver, B.C., clinching the Canada West title.
  • Last in Victoria, the Vikes posted 3-1 and 3-0 wins, Oct. 2-3, 2021.

  • The Vikes hold a 2-0 record entering the weekend, defeating Calgary 9-0 and 7-0, Sept. 10-11.
