- The Vikes' men's side holds an 8-2 record through 10 games, most recently coming off 114-80 and 103-71 wins over Mount Royal Dec. 2-3, 2022.
- The Vikes' women's side sits at 4-6 on the season, most recently earning its first series win of the season over Mount Royal with 85-52 and 75-70 wins, Dec. 2-3 at CARSA Performance Gym.
- The Regina men's and women's teams went into the break after splitting series with UBCO, Dec. 2-3. The Cougar men hold a 5-3 record while the women are 7-1 entering the weekend.
- Diego Maffia and Ashlyn Day lead their respective teams and both rank third in Canada West with 23.0 and 20.7 points per game scoring averages, respectively.
