VICTORIA - The University of Victoria and University of British Columbia field hockey teams battled to a 0-0 finish, Oct. 21 on the newly-named
Lynne "Buzz" Beecroft Field. The Vikes came away with the 4-3 victory in the penalty shootout.

- Chace and the Vikes' defence have now recorded three shutouts on the year.
- UBC became first team to shutout the Vikes in a game this season.
- The Vikes move to 3-1-3 with the tie, while UBC goes to 3-3-1 after the result.
