  • Ricky Millns was named the Canada West Men's Community Service Award winner following the meet, marking the third-straight year the Vikes have had a Community Service Award winner after Olivia Roschat earned the honour in 2021 and 2022.
THOUGHTS FROM HEAD COACH PETER VIZSOLYI
"Despite having lots of injuries and missing some point-getters at this meet, the swimmers that were here did a good job, especially for this time of year and with the obstacles they faced. Our relays looked good, and almost everyone who came scored for us.

"Lauren Crisp swam in her final Canada West championships and won four medals, showing she's close to returning to her potential after dealing with a back injury. There were also positive signs from some of the rookies, coming less than a second from gaining U SPORTS qualifying marks.

"In all, we're going to work on getting healthier to get back to full strength for the new year and the national championships."
