Women's soccer hosts Manitoba, Winnipeg for weekend matchups

VICTORIA - The University of Victoria women's soccer team returns to Centennial Stadium to host the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg, Sept. 22-24.

NEWS & NOTES
  • The Vikes enter the weekend at 2-3-2 on the season, coming off of two 1-1 draws on the road at Alberta and MacEwan, Sept. 16-17.
  • Manitoba holds a 2-6 record through eight matches, most recently shutting out UNBC, 3-0, and falling to UBC, 2-0, Sept. 15-16.
  • Winnipeg sits at 0-5-3 on the year after a 10-0 loss to UBC and 0-0 draw with UNBC, Sept. 15-16.
  • Victoria took on both the Bisons and Wesmen a year ago on the road, securing a 1-0 win over Manitoba and 2-0 win over Winnipeg, Sept. 17-18, 2022.
