- The Vikes are 0-0-2 heading into the weekend action, finishing with a 1-1 draw and 2-2 tie at Calgary, Sept. 16-17. The Vikes won the first shootout, 3-0, and fell in the second, 5-4.
- In the first U SPORTS poll of the season, the Vikes were tabbed at No. 1, while UBC was ranked fifth.
- UBC holds a 1-0-1 record after a scoreless draw and 1-0 win over Calgary, Sept. 9-10. The Thunderbirds defeated the Dinos in the shootout, 4-3.
- Chloe Langkammer, Amanda Adams, and Melanie Robertson each have a goal for the Vikes so far this season, while Anais Chace has been in net for UVic in both games.
