- The Vikes men's basketball enters the weekend as the No. 2-ranked team in U SPORTS with a 9-3 overall record after an 83-79 loss and 103-100 overtime win against Manitoba, Jan. 19-20.
- After a 76-61 loss and 77-42 win to split the series with Manitoba one weekend ago, the Vikes' women's team holds a 4-8 record coming into the series.
- Holding the top spot in the U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Saskatchewan women's team sits at an undefeated 14-0 on the year, while the men's team is 8-6 coming to CARSA.
- Following a 72-point weekend at Manitoba, Renoldo Robinson was named the Canada West Player of the Week (Jan. 23) and the U SPORTS Player of the Week (Jan. 24). Robinson scored the most points in a single Canada West men's basketball game this season in Saturday's win over Manitoba with 46.
- Robinson's averaging 16.6 points per game for the Vikes, while Diego Maffia leads the team with a 27.6 points per game average. Elias Ralph's 7.8 rebounds per game average ranks 10th in Canada West.
- Abigail Becker continues to lead the conference with a 61.6% field goal shooting percentage, and is averaging 15.1 points per game which is good for ninth in Canada West.
