Vancouver, B.C. - The University of Victoria women's soccer team fell to the University of British Columbia, 3-1, Oct. 6 at Thunderbird Stadium.

McLeish ties it at end of first half
  • The Thunderbirds were the first to get on the board, scoring in the 23rd minute. However, Brianne McLeish tied things up in the 44th minute for the Vikes, striking a cross from Ruby Nicholas at the top centre of the six-yard box to pull the Vikes even, 1-1.

  • UBC scored in the 51st and 76th minutes to take the 3-1 win over Victoria.
WORTH NOTING
  • Brianne McLeish's goal marked her third of the year.
