- The Vikes are 3-1-1 against UBC in the last five meetings between the two sides.
- In the two games in Victoria last season, UVic tied with the Thunderbirds but won the shootout, 4-3, in game one and followed up with a 1-0 win, Oct. 21-22.

- The Vikes are 2-0 entering the weekend, having claimed a pair of 6-0 wins over Calgary on the road to open the year, Sept. 7-8.
- UBC also holds a 2-0 record coming to Victoria, defeating Calgary on the road 5-0 and 4-0, Sept. 14-15.
- Chloe Langkammer leads Canada West and the Vikes with three goals on the year, while Amanda Adams, Madeline Mittelsteadt, Josie Dunham, and Sadie Lee have each tallied two goals in the first two games.
