FROM THE PITCH – Ruby Nicholas
On the game:
"It was exciting playing them at home. I think we knew at this point in the season that they would come out hard because it's always such a contest between [Canada West] pacific division foes. Credit to them, they defended pretty well in the first half, and the second half as well. At this point in the season, we really need those three points, so it's nice to be able to get those."
On if having played UFV two weeks ago is useful in finding scoring chances:
"A little bit, just because we play all these teams so often. It's nice when you do understand a bit more how to breach their defence and things like that because you played them recently."
WORTH NOTING
- Ruby Nicholas increases her season goal total to six, moving into a tie for most in the conference.
