Vikes vs Concordia Stingers, October 16, at 6p.m.
Vikes vs Calgary Dinos, October 17, at 7p.m.
- Named in the honour of the late Guy Vetrie, the tournament memorializes the head coach who led the Vikes for 14 seasons. Vetrie's tenure is highlighted by winning the national championship in 1996-97. Each fall, the tournament welcomes some of the top teams from across the country to face off in a series of exhibition games.

Women's Soccer (5-3-4)

Last Week Recap:
- In game one, the Vikes traveled on the road and defeated the University of Fraser Valley 3-0.
- In the 2nd minute of the game, Ruby Nicholas crossed a corner kick into the box, and it skipped past the keeper. Adrianna Hilton crashed the net and forced it past the lone Cascades' defender on the goal line.
- It was Ruby Nicholas with the setup again; she streaked down the sideline and crossed the ball into the box. Her pass found Abby McDonald at the back post, and she made no mistake. McDonald buried her 4th of the season and made it 2-0 for the Vikes in the 49th minute.
- In the 80th minute, Scarlett McNeely made a push to break through the Cascades' defenders. Her pursuit was at first stopped by a sliding goaltender, but the rebound bounced back to McNeely, and she put home the Vikes third of the game.
- Stefanie Mocnik recorded her first shutout win of the season, bringing her personal record to 2-1-1.
- In the second game of the weekend, the Vikes played to a 2-2 draw with the Trinity Western Spartans.
- In the 14th minute, Adrianna Hilton placed a perfect cross of a corner and Brianne McLeish headed home the first of the game. This was McLeish's third of the season and put the Vikes in front 1-0.
- In the 26th minute, the Spartans scored off of a shot from far outside the box, initially saved but the ball spun in off the grass.
- Adrianna Hilton with her second assist of the match as she threaded a long cross to Ruby Nicholas for her to beat the keeper. Vikes took the 2-1 lead in the 63rd minute of the game.
- Off a free kick, the Spartans created a scrum in the box and were able to capitalize to tie the match 2-2 in the 90th minute.

Vikes host UBC Thunderbirds (3-1-2), Victoria, BC, at 11a.m.

Regular Season Recap:
- The Vikes hold the top seed in Canada West with their record of 5-0-1 and will be hosting the UBC Thunderbirds for the Conference Title.
- If the Vikes win either of the two games, they will be crowned Canada West Champions.
- During the regular season matchup prior, the Vikes went 1-0-1 against UBC, winning the bonus shootout in the tie.

Last Meet Recap:
- The rowing team last competed at the Western Canadian University Rowing Championship at Burnaby Lake.
- Giancarlo DiPompeo took home first place in both men's Ltwt 1x and men's Ltwt 2x as he continued to build on a decorated Vikes' career.
- Elena Masyte crushed the field taking home first place in the women's Ltwt 1x race. She won by a margin of nine seconds to the second-place finisher. In the women's Ltwt 2x, the team of Charisse Faubert and Kate Watson showed their speed as they come out on top.

Last Tournament Recap:
- The golf team will return to play for the first time since returning from Arizona for the OUAZ Fall Invite Tournament.
- As teams, both the men and women finished 4th in their respective pools. The men's team was highlighted by Maguire Lines as he delivered top 5 and -2 performance. Lines carded rounds of 71,72,71, on a course that saw very few under-par scores.
- The women's team was led by Brynne Davies and her 3-round +11 score. Davies' stellar play earned her a T-7 finish, highlighted by her second-round score of 74.
