Victoria, BC – The University of Victoria men's basketball team continued their winning way as the Vikes defeated the University of British Columbia Okanagan 95-62, Nov. 1, at CARSA Performance Gym.
The Vikes asserted their dominance in the first half.
- Victoria started the game on fire, outscoring the Heat 32-16 in the first quarter. Their defence continued to stifle the Heat's offence as they were held to only seven made baskets.
- The second quarter was more of the same. The Vikes once again outscored the Heat, in large part due to their stellar shooting from behind the arc. The Vikes headed for the locker room with a 56-27 lead.
Victoria's depth showed in the second half
- The Vikes continued to stretch their lead in the second half. The productivity off the bench was a driving factor in the Vikes' huge win. The bench provided 58 of the 95 Vikes' points.

- The Vikes remain undefeated and move to 4-0 on the season. The Heat will fall to 1-3 with the loss.
