Calgary, A.B. – The University of Victoria women's field hockey team dominate in a 5-0 win over the University of Calgary Dinos, Sep. 13 at Hawkings Field.
Vikes score five while shutting out the Dinos
- The Vikes opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Molly Harris popped one over the Dinos' goalie's pad.
- In the 38th minute, Libby Hogg extended the Vikes' lead to 2-0 with her first of the game.
- In the 46th and 49th minute, Jaden Dawson made her presence known by netting a pair of goals to extend the Vikes' lead to 4-0.
- Hogg struck again in the 58th minute as she blasted one past the Dinos' keeper.
Notables
- Anais Chace played all 60 minutes to earn her first shutout of the season.
- With the win, the Vikes move to 1-0 while the Dinos fall to 0-3 on the season.
