Men's Basketball

Vikes will play the winner of the Mount Royal/Trinity Western play-in game at CARSA Performance Gym, Victoria, BC.

- The Vikes' men's basketball team finished the regular season with a record of 17-3, winning the Canada West Pacific Division.
- In dramatic fashion, the division title came down to the last regular season game between Victoria and the UBC Thunderbirds. Renoldo Robinson and his 24 points propelled the Vikes past the Thunderbirds en route to a 93-85 win, clinching first place.
- Statistically, it was a dominant season for the men's basketball team. They finish the regular season ranked first in field goal percentage (46%) and points per game (88.2), while finishing with the fourth-best opponents' field goal percentage (41%).

Game Preview:
- Trinity Western and Mount Royal are meeting in the first-round play-in game as the Pacific Division five seed against the Prairie Division four seed.
- Against Trinity Western, the Vikes are riding a six-game winning streak over the last two seasons.
- Victoria hasn't played Mount Royal since the 2022 season. As a program, the Vikes hold an 8-2 record against the Cougars.
Women's Basketball

The Vikes will play the Alberta Pandas in the play-in round at War Memorial Gymnasium, Vancouver, BC.

- The Vikes' women's basketball team finished the regular season with a 9-11 record, securing fifth in the Canada West Pacific Division.
- A highlight from this season was the Vikes' ability to excel on the glass. Victoria ranked third in rebounding margin amongst the conference, tallying a positive margin of 9.8. The defensive unit was one of the strongest in the Canada West conference, ranking seventh in opponents' field goal percentage, holding them to 35.2% from the field.

- Against Alberta, the Vikes hold a program record of 4-13, including 3-7 in the last 10 matchups.
- Alberta enters this matchup as the fourth seed in the Prairie Division. The Pandas achieved a 15-5 regular season record, ending with a weekend sweep of the Lethbridge Pronghorns.
