Victoria, BC – The University of Victoria men's rowing team grabbed a pair of second-place finishes in the Brown Cup and Campbell-Dowd Cup, March 28, on the Gorge Waterway.
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• The varsity crew of Simon Whittaker, Gabe Dyer, Daniel Mielecki, Calum Murphy, Henry Lindig, Dominik Crnjak, Thomas Boruta, Giancarlo DiPompeo, and Sascha Jansen-Rudan crossed the finish line with a time of 10:16.2, finishing second in the annual Brown Cup.
• The reserve crew of Drew Timlin, Patrick Turner, Michael Caryk, Gabe Cinq-Mars, Lima Hallett, Conor Dillon, Nolan Robertson, and Mia Bergen raced hard to cross the finish line second with a time of 10:51.7 in the Campbell-Dowd Cup.

This concludes the 2025-26 season for the Vikes men's rowing team. The Vikes will return to university action in the fall of 2026.
