13th Annual VIKES CHAMPIONSHIP BREAKFAST

Date: Thursday, November 5, 2020
Time: 7:30 – 8:00am
Where: Watch on YouTube now

In an unprecedented year where the University of Victoria, Vikes Athletics, and most importantly our student-athletes are facing new and difficult challenges like adapting to a new way of studying and training, we are taking the Vikes Championship Breakfast virtual! Bring your breakfast and join us for an online presentation where we will celebrate and showcase our Vikes stduent-athletes, an engaging keynote alumni and much more!

The Vikes Championship Breakfast is the largest annual fundraising event for Vikes Athletics and has raised over $5.4 million since 2008. The support generated by the event helps with both recruitment and retention, allowing Vikes varsity athletes the opportunity to compete at the highest level in their chosen sport.

All proceeds from the breakfast support student-athlete scholarships. Support can be directed to specific varsity programs or to the Vikes General Fund. The University of Victoria generously provides $200,000 in matching funds in support of Vikes student athletes.

This year's keynote speaker is Debbie Yeboah, an alumna of the Vikes women's basketball program. Read the full story
