Pledge Your Support for Women in Leadership
Vikes women’s basketball is proud of its all-female coaching staff, providing student athletes with strong female role models who have experience as players/coaches at the university, provincial, national and professional levels. Less than 60% of U SPORTS women’s basketball teams are led by female head coaches, and even fewer have a full staff of dedicated, experienced women.
A generous donor has pledged their support for women in leadership. This donor will match all donations raised for the next five years, up to $25,000 per year.
Vikes women’s basketball is seeking support from people who are passionate about women leading women and are willing to pledge their support for women in leadership.
Goal:
Five people, or five groups of people, willing to pledge $5000/year for five years to support women in leadership.
Impact:
Your support will help fund our full-time assistant coach position, as well as supplement compensation for two part-time assistant coach positions. Funds will also support coaching staff for Vikes Nation youth programming and encourage more women in coaching.
