SCOUTING THE VIKES
It's been a tough season for head coach
Bruce Wilson who lost 12 players on his roster heading into the 2010 campaign. Looking ahead to the 2011 season, however, there is plenty to look forward to with a batch of young players now tested at the Canada West level.
After scoring just six goals all season, the Vikes unleashed their offence last Sunday against the Trinity Western Spartans, netting five goals in 90 minutes. #
Andrew Ravenhill# netted two of his team-high three goals as the squad posted their second win of the season.
SCOUTING THE PRONGHORNS
Lethbridge are currently sitting bottom of the Canada West standings with a 1-9-2 record. Their only win of the season came back in week one, when the Pronghorns dealt the Vikes a 1-0 loss. Unable to maintain the momentum, their offence has scored just five goals in their last ten appearances. Brett Silbernagel has led the offence, posting two goals and an assist.
SCOUTING THE DINOS
The high-flying Dinos thumped the no. 3 Alberta Golden Bears 3-1 on Sunday afternoon and made history by going undefeated at home for the first time in the program's history. At 7-3-2, Calgary has already locked up a trip to the playoffs but need positive results this weekend to keep control of their postseason destiny.
