VICTORIA - A fourth quarter comeback allowed the no. 1 UVic Vikes to even the score with the no. 3 Regina Cougars on Saturday. The Vikes won 75-65 to spoil Regina's undefeated record.

Carmen Lapthorne scored all seven of her points in the final frame, helping the Vikes orchestrate a come-from-behind victory. UVic entered the fourth quarter trailing by seven points.
Regina, who ended the Vikes' perfect run the previous night 72-49, appeared on their way to 8-0 before UVic's 31-point rally in the fourth.
The Vikes fortunes swung on 16-3 run in the fourth. Lapthorne tied the game twice, and a couple of layups from
Kayla Dykstra won the momentum back. Dykstra posted the game's scoring high with 23 points, also grabbing eight 'boards.
Jane Anholt, who's three-ball sparked the fourth quarter rally, finished with 12 points, and rookie guard
Cassandra Goodis came off the bench to net 15.
Debbie Yeboah added nine points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Regina had four players reach double-digit scoring totals. Joanna Zalesiak, Lindsay Ledingham and Carly Graham shared the Cougars' high with 14 apiece. Gabrielle Gheyssen added 10 points.
Zalesiak, who trails only Dykstra amongst league scoring leaders, also had 10 rebounds and five assists. She paced the Cougars attack early, and had them leading 37-35 at the halftime break.
The Vikes will now travel to Alberta to wrap-up the first half of the schedule, while Regina returns home to face Calgary.
