The University of Victoria Vikes women's basketball team improved to 14-5 on the season, defeating the winless Brandon Bobcats 92-44 on Friday Jan. 28.
The Bobcats drop to 0-17 on the season. UVic and Brandon square off again on Saturday Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. PST.

The Vikes scored 55 points in the middle two quarters while holding the Bobcats women to just 16 during the same duration en route to the victory.
After trailing 14-9 after the first quarter, the Vikes women exploded for 32 second-quarter points to lead 41-21 at the half, holding the Bobcats to just seven in the second frame.
The Vikes continued to pour it on, outscoring the Bobcats 23-9 in the third to lead 64-30.
UVIc continued their strong play in the fourth quarter, cruising to victory.
