The UVic Vikes women's basketball team fell to 1-1 with a 69-55 loss to the Trinity Western Spartans on Saturday night at the Langley Events Centre.

"We stunk the place out," said Vikes head coach #Rich Chambers#. "Trinity was very deserving of the win."

#Cassandra Goodis# led the Vikes with 12 points, while #Sarah Semeniuk# had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

"We turned the ball over 22 times, we were sloppy," Chambers added.

UVic hosts the Regina Cougars on Friday Nov. 11 at 6 p.m. and the Brandon Bobcats on Saturday Nov. 12 at 5 p.m. at McKinnon Gymnasium. Both games will have live video and stats via http://canadawest.tv.
