Dinos down Vikes in second game of Holiday Hoops Tournament

 CALGARY - The UVic Vikes women's basketball team dropped a 57-68 decision to the Calgary Dinos in Dec. 29 Holiday Hoops Tournament action. Winnipeg native Debbie Yeboah kept her streak going, leading the Vikes with 20 points, followed by Allison Mulock (North Vancouver, B.C.), with nine points. Along with being out-scored by 10 points in the third quarter, the Vikes turned the ball over 31 times.

Jenny Lewis (Fall River, NS) cleaned up the boards with a total of nine rebounds in the game and traded player of the game honours from yesterday to Yeboah. The Vikes will finish the Holiday Hoops tournament tomorrow, Dec. 30, in Calgary playing the University of Toronto Varsity Blues at 11:00 a.m. PDT.
