VICTORIA, B.C. -- The University of Victoria Vikes made it five wins in a row on Saturday, Oct. 24 with a 36-22 win over the Castaway Wanderers at Windsor Park in Victoria. The Vikes are 5-0 while the Wanderers sit behind the VIkes in the Barnard Cup standings at 3-2.

Bhiamie Williamsone scored a pair of tries in the win for the Vikes, followed by singles from Grady Bowd, Oliver Nott and Isaac Kaay. Fergus notched two converts and Bowd added two of his own and a penalty kick.
The Vikes commanded the game for the first-half, entering the break with a 29-5 lead. The Wanderers battled back, however, cutting the Vikes lead to two possessions. The Vikes would be too much on the day, winnign 36-22 to remain udnefeated on the season.
The Vikes will play their second of three consecutive road games next weekend, Oct. 31, at Westshore Parks & Recreation Centre against the struggling Westshore RFC. The Wanderers will match up with the James Bay Athletic Association to wrap up the month of October in BC Rugby Union.
