- The Vikes enter the final weekend of regular season play with a 9-3-2 overall record, sitting in second place in the Canada West pacific division.Â
- UFV holds a 2-12 record and seventh place in the pacific division ahead of the weekend, while Trinity Western is 6-2-5 and in third place in the division.
- Javier Sagaste leads the Vikes with six goals on the year, followed closely by Matthew Pearse with five.
- Adding four assists to his goals, Sagaste has a team-high 10 points on the year, and is tied with Jordan Mckinty for most assists on the team (4).
- Coming off a six-save, two-shutout weekend, Callum Weir earned Canada West and U SPORTSÂ Player of the Week honours after helping the Vikes to their sixth and seventh shutouts of the year against UBCO and Thompson Rivers, Oct. 13-14.
