- The Vikes enter the tournament as the second overall seed, holding a 5-3 record and 3-1 mark against university competition.Â
- Queen's holds the seventh seed in the tournament, compiling a 6-3 (4-2 OUA)Â record.
- Victoria finished in fifth place at the 2022 national championships, falling to Trinity Western in the quarterfinals before defeating Laurier and Memorial in the consolation semifinals and final.
- Appearing in the championship final in both seasons prior, the Vikes defeated UBC in 2019 to win the national title before falling to the Thunderbirds in 2021 and finishing as national runners-up.
