- The Vikes enter the weekend with a 3-1 record on the men's side and 0-4 record on the women's side.
- Coming off bye week, Victoria was last in action Nov. 10-11, with the men grabbing two wins on the road and the women falling in both contests at Fraser Valley.
- UBC holds 4-2 records on both the men's and women's sides, with the men coming off a split series at Saskatchewan and the women falling in both matchups to the Huskies, Nov. 17-18.
- Thursday's game against the Thunderbirds will serve as the Vikes' annual Shoot for the Cure fundraiser, with every made three-pointer, free throw, and rebounds during the women's game having a corresponding donation thanks to Heart Pharmacy.
- Diego Maffia's 32.3 points per game average not only leads the Vikes' men's team and Canada West, but is the top mark of all U SPORTS players, while Shadynn Smid leads Victoria with a 7.0 rebounds per game average.
- Abigail Becker holds the top scoring mark on the women's side at 14.5 points per game, tied for seventh in Canada West, while Brooklyn White leads UVic with 7.3 rebounds per game.
