• The Vikes head to Langley, B.C. with a 0-1 record after recording a 52-12 loss to the Pacific Pride to open the season, Sept. 9.
• Trinity Western enters the match also at 0-1 following a 61-22 loss at UBC, Sept. 9.
• Victoria and TWU last met in the Canadian University Men's Rugby Championship quarterfinals, where a final-second penalty goal for the Spartans gave TWU the 23-22 win Nov. 30, 2022.
• Ethan Smith and Angus Boyd-Porter lead the Vikes' scoring efforts with one try each, while Alex Gamage has one convert to round out UVic's point-scorers.
