- Coming off two wins over MacEwan, Feb. 9-10, and their second-straight series sweep, the Vikes women's team holds an 8-10 overall record, holding 10th place in the Canada West standings and has secured a spot in the 12-team Canada West playoff.
- After two wins against the Griffins Feb. 9-10, the Vikes men's team enters the weekend as the newly minted No. 1-ranked team in U SPORTS, also sitting atop the Canada West standings with a 15-3 record and is in position to advance straight to the quarterfinal round of the Canada West playoff.
- The Thompson Rivers men's team holds a 6-12 record coming to Victoria, most recently claiming two wins over Mount Royal, Feb. 9-10. The WolfPack women hold a 2-16 overall mark after two losses to the Cougars this past weekend.
- Diego Maffia continues to lead U SPORTS and Canada West with a 27.1 points per game average, while Shadynn Smid leads both the nation and the conference with a 73.0% field goal shooting percentage. Elias Ralph leads the Vikes and ranks ninth in the conference with an 8.2 rebounds per game average.
- Abigail Becker and Tana Pankratz rank ninth and 10th in Canada West with 14.7 and 14.4 points per game averages, respectively. Becker also ranks second in field goal shooting percentage with a 58.9% clip, while Mimi Sigue leads the Vikes wth a 7.3 rebounds per game average.
- Following the completion of the regular season games, seedings will be announced for the Canada West playoff tournaments. The women will head to the University of the Fraser Valley and the men will travel to the University of Manitoba for games scheduled from Feb. 21-25.
