VICTORIA – The University of Victoria men's rowing team fell to the University of British Columbia in both races at the Brown Cup, April 6.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Vikes' reserve boat of Sascha Jansen-Rudan, Aidan Carr, Anthony Carella, Ethan Gibb-Randall, Samuel Ross, Michael Caryk, Connor Dillon, Victor Lefebvre, and Simon Whittaker crossed the finish line in 11:22.9, 2.3 seconds behind UBC.
• The varsity crew of Nicholas Murray-Coplen, Giancarlo DiPompeo, Andrew Hubbard, Sam Ree, Quinn Storey, Connor Attridge, Kai Bartel, Matthew Thompson, and Jesse Harold clocked in at 11:19.7 for a second-place showing.
