Dalton, Ga. - The University of Victoria men's golf team finished in a tie for 25th place after two rounds of play to conclude their appearance at the 2024 NAIA Men's Golf Championships, May 21-22 at the Dalton Golf & Country Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Maguire Lines paved the way for the Vikes, posting the Vikes' low score in both rounds one and two at 78 and 75 to tie for 47th individually at +9.
- Tying for 65th at +11 overall was Aiden Craig-Steele, carding rounds of 79 and 76.
- Dropping five strokes from round one to two was Zach Ryujin, going 83 and 78 to tie for 118th overall at +17.
- Daniel Kirby and Owen Croft tied for 123rd at +18, coming via rounds of 83 and 79 from Kirby and 80 and 82 by Croft.Â
- As a team, the Vikes posted a 12-stroke improvement in the second round after shooting 320 in round one. Finishing with a collective 308 in round two, Victoria finished tied for 25th as a team at +52 overall.Â
