Chilliwack, BC - Owen Croft won the Canada West Men's Championship to highlight the Vikes' performances at Chilliwack Golf Club. Croft played his best golf of the year as he shot tournament lows of 66 in round one and 68 in round two. Croft made a key eagle on the 13^th hole in his last round as separated himself from the rest of the field.
 
Solomon Decksheimer delivered for the Vikes with a top 15 performance. Decksheimer shot rounds of 70 and 72 which had him finishing with a tournament score of -2. As a teams, the men finished fourth, and the women finished third in their respective divisions.
 
The women's top performers were Cindy Koira and Kenzie Bowers. Koira finished with a tournament score of +4 as she shot 75 in round one and 73 in round two. Her second-round score of 73 was in the top five for individual round scores. Kenzie Bowers placed 14^th in the women's division standings. Bowers shot an impressive 77 and 78 in her two rounds.
 
The Vikes golf teams will return to action as they head back down south to Buckeye, AZ for the ACU Firestorm Invite Nov. 3 to Nov. 5.
